This Date 4 Years Back....

This date four (4) years back I officially became Mrs. Azhan. We been going out for eight (8) years before decided to tie the knot. My husband in our early days was very funny (and still) and understanding. Enough said, we complete each other despite all the different we had - I love shopping, he is not (however he always accompany wherever I go even it will takes hours - there was once upon a time I started shopping from 10am until they have to chase me out because they are closing). Ahhhh... What a wonderful memories.. He loves hip hop and has his own group, I AM NOT! Clubbing is okay but not performing and rapping in front the audience. His nick was (or still?) SureRock. Tehehe.. I know, very funny right? But hey, that is MY HUSBAND and I don't care what he called himself as long as his not using my name. That's weird!

Anyway Mr. Husband, if you ever stumble on this blog of mine, I want you to read this -
No one else would understand our relationship, and no one else in this world would understand me the way you do. Thank you for being my partner, spouse, lover, and friend. Happy 4th Anniversary! I love you..

Jakarta Bandung Jakarta

My second time actually. I never fancy to go there due to the "macet". But this time it was different (the "macet" is still there of coz), I have to go for Marshella fabric hunting and settle my family business. Pippa, Adah and Su joined me for this trip. They just started the business and need my advice for the best deal in town and what to buy. So we booked the tickets. Unfortunately, Su haven't checked her passport expiry date properly and we have no choice, but to leave her behind (she renew the passport and get on the next plane to Jakarta). Very high spirit girl!

We have tied schedule during the stay. Travelling between Jakarta, Bandung, Jakarta is not an easy job. We slept few hours a day, little rest but at the end this was a successful trip - at least for me. I did not bring camera so all the pictures credit to Adah and Su. They love to take the pictures.

Food are super great and yummy! We ate Iga Panggang few times, Nasi Goreng Seafood, Ikan Gurami Goreng Berlado, Pisang Ijau for the dessert and many more delicious Indonesia kuih.

There was one incident I hate during my stay which should never happen. I was cheated by one shop assistant which I have asked him to buy the starter SimPati sim card. He has mentioned that the starter kit in Jakarta is Rupiah 55k (MYR19.36). Without having second thought I gave the money. After he passed me the starter kit, I was so curious on the credit value I had in the sim card (Rupiah 5k) and found out that the starter kit actually cost only Rupiah 10k. I came back to the shop to clarified with the boy. He is not there. I came back again after 2 days (I have a trip to Bandung the next day). Don't ever think I will forgive and FORGET easily ya.. It's not about the money but principle.

The boy denied and even pestered me to follow him to the shop. I am not interested to be lied twice. He even dare me to get the rates mentioned by others (Rupiah 10k) and if I managed to buy with the price he will pay me "4 lipat" - wah cakap besar pulak tu! You cheat my money and now you want to pay me 4 times if I get the sim card? Hmmm... I then walked to the nearest shop to get the actual price and most of the shop and people I interviewed said the maximum for the kit was Rupiah 15k. I buy the sim card and get the bill. To cut it short, he pay me Rupiah 45k (not 4 lipat as promise- memang dasar penipu).

I totally understand that they are poor but it should NEVER be the reason to cheat people. Duit haram is always haram. No excuse.

Apart of that, I FINALLY managed to met with Aas (my ex colleague manager in Promark) and Sanjay in Plaza Indonesia. I've notice almost 90% of the women at the shopping complex wore 5inch heels, carried all the designer handbags, thick make up, and have a nice hair. Aas said it is a normal view in Plaza Indonesia and it is rare to see women with flat sandal and no make up. Even on SUNDAY! Huh? I was also informed by Aas that all the branded goods are having the sales. Gucci, Prada, Ferragamo and Louboutin on 50% off! *double pengsan* Why me??? Why now, when I have all the errands that I have to gave the prioritize?

Let's browse the pictures lah..

How Do I Keep Myself Slim?

Many people asked me how I keep myself slim as I'm a mother of TWO. I did not practice any diet. I eat as much as I want but I always make sure I did not take my drink while I'm eating (except if tersedak lah). I will only drink water 45minutes after I finished my meal. I did not exercise regularly (if you consider shopping as part of exercise regime, then you can count me in). I worked more than 20 hours a day. 11 hours at my office + 4 hours for Marshella and 5 hours for my babies and husband. 4 hours is for me to get my rest. I woke up at 5am to 5.30am every morning as my son will wake me by playing with my nose, ears, hair and will not stop doing that until I open my eyes and bring him out from my room or he will start to scream his head off (that is the final call). My usual practice is to take him to our living hall and play with him while watching the tv until Kak Ana (my household manager aka helper) take over by 6.30am.

After that, get ready to go to the office, work work work, go home, spend few hours with Marshella business - 95% are handmade, in between pay attention to my family and then go to sleep. I guess that also play part. Being a women, I take my mom advice seriously especially when I'm pregnant and "berpantang". I never skip my J&M (jamu and majun) no matter what, even until now. It helps me to reduce the weight within 14 days during "pantang" and shape back my figure within 60days. Yup, I had my 100days "pantang".

During my first time "pantang" I had difficulty on choosing the right food. All are dry but my mom very understand on my appetite - I MUST HAVE GREEN in my meal. No compromise. So she let me have my broccoli and carrot. Hehehe.. Some of my aunts and "mulut kepoh" condemned my preference to have vege with my meal as they said all the vege is "angin and sejuk". Being me, I never bothered. On my second "pantang", I take full in charge on my menu. I had my "sup ayam kampung with vege, liver or meat black pepper style, "daging kunyit" and "nasi panas-panas". As for the breakfast, I take half boil eggs and bread. I recovered faster than my first "pantang" and with no "bentan" (I "bentan" few times on my first).

Fashion Valet Turns ONE!

We have received invitation from Asma' - Fashion Valet Head Buyer for this event. Event was held at The Stage, Publika Solaris Dutamas on November 16, 2011. FV has collaborated with Miss Universe Malaysia to walk on the runway with all the designers creations under their umbrella (and Marshella Adornment is one of them - weehooo) and emcees for the night are the popular duo of Ben & Phat Fabes from FlyFM.

There are plenty of well known designers showed up to give their support such as Syomir Izwa, Melissa Indot, Mimpi Kita trio, Gallo's owner, AzuraAzwa duo and many more.

The best part of the event, my sister has met up with her long lost Renong friend - Kak Mira aka!

Great crowd and fashion show even we are kind of lost on the event programs.

Anyway, HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO FASHION VALET and we wish you all the best in the future! XXX

Marshella Adornment In!

Wooohoooo!!! Yes, you read it right - we have take one more step by joining Fashion Valet family. Let's the picture do all the talks.

Too Quiet...

It was quite awhile that I did not update my blog. Extremely busy with my family, work and Marshella (oh ya, Marshella is my latest business I shared with my bestfriend, Marni). To be honest, I dont think 24hours are enough to run my life chores, but I make do with the time as best as I could.

Within these 3 months there's lot of things happening. Great news, bad news, challenge that I have to face to bring Marshella Adornment to where we are at the moment (and I still have plenty to do though). It has make us strong, tighten my relationship with my other half, parents, siblings and friends and most important is to ignore all the negative remarks and vibes that was created by people who love to screw up people life.

I have talked about Marshella Adornment before this and I would like to share it again. Marshella Adornment is the home of more than beau accessories. We sell pearls, semi precious stone bracelet/bangles, earrings, rings, necklaces and pendants. All are handmade and we even have the customize service as well. You can just give us the idea of your preferences of stone and design, we are going to try to fulfill your dream. We also provide fixing service for your old accessories so you may give a new look to your favourite items.

Since Marni and myself love pretty things and fashion, we are going to expand our business to the next level - clothing. So we are going to launch this very soon. I have plenty of ideas and strategies for us in the future. Hopefully thing goes well. We have done the baby steps, now is about time for us to go BIG! Insyallah. Please pray for us. XXX

Break Fasting With ARGSians

We have 2 options either to have this break fasting at JW Marriot Hotel like usual, or having it at Al Rawsha. I persuade everyone to have it here as it is easy to parked the car and MOST IMPORTANT is they have "the mbekkkkkkk". I was dissapointed though..... Most of the foods served too cold. For break fasting they have buffet spread with adult RM50 and child (below 12) RM20. Some of the foods was not refilled and the que to get to the food was messed up. I will come again (definitely) but for the ala carte.

Anyway lets talk about the ARGSian. This time the host for the event is Suzie Akhbar and she is very patience with all the inquiries from all of us. Despite all the talks when, where and who will attend, (mind you that this happen every year involved the very same people) as usual are not joining *long sigh*. Sometimes I wonder what is the purpose of asking when you are not going to be there with all of us?? Hishhhh... Macam-macam ada!

We (husband and myself) are the first to arrived, followed by Chuna, Mr. & Mrs Shark, Asepa and others. The last to arrived was Farah and the clan. It is always a great pleasure to have your friends around you especially those who have been with you during your teen age.

We ate lots of meat, drank the nicest mint tea ever, smoked shisha, talked and poses infront of the camera and video cam non stop. Pffffttt...

We say goodbye to each other around 9pm but some of us continue having our desserts (durian and rambutan) at Nano house in Taman Melawati.. Tehehehe..

Marshella Adornment In Selamat Pagi 1Malaysia!

Wooohoooo!!!! Who have thought that we are going to be in TV (I mean, that fast??)? But that's the fact! Last Saturday (August 6th, 2011 at 8.20am slot), Marni and myself was invited as the guests in the morning talk show. We got the invitation on Wednesday via FB and we was thinking "OMG, is this for real"?

I am so glad we say YES (even we are so nervous, we handle this rationally - THANKS TO ALLAH!).

Since our slot at 8.20am and we have to be there before 7.30am, Marni and myself thought it would be best if we did our make up after sahur at 5am. Even we made early preparation, we still don't have enough time!

We left the house around 6.45am, and lost 2 times before reach Angkasapuri at 7.40am! Phewwwwww... I passed by Angkasapuri (Federal highway) lots of times but who have thought that their main entrance at the back, facing the NPE highway? *rolls my eyes*

The producer greet us at the entrance and we apologies for being late, and she just smile when I informed her that we are "sesat". She then usher us to VIP waiting room *jumping around mode*. Why? Because even the artist and big corporate guest have to share their waiting room *blow the nails*. WE ARE SPECIAL - perasan! The actual story was, there is no enough space! LOL.

Taznim and Ali (the hosts) have make us comfortable, therefore we did not faint due to nervous breakdown. Taznim is very warm and gila-gila and she LOVED the accessories! Both of them have a bit of chat with us before we go on air and that have help us to remain cool during the interview.

FYI, almost all our families and friends woke up earlier just to watch us in TV! Many have gave us good feedback but the feedback I laughed most was from my Pak Long (my mom cousin brother). He said "this is the first time I saw Chi Chi in her best behaviour and being polite!" *big sigh* I must admit that I am the NAUGHTIEST in the families. Trust me, VERY! But hey, I am 30 now, I have passed the "season".

To all my families and friends, from our bottom of heart, thanks for the support. We really appreciate it... XOXO
